Forestry and Land Scotland are recruiting an Agriculture Estate Manager within their Estate Development team, part of the Commercial Development Directorate. This national role is based in Edinburgh or Inverness, with some flexibility on location, and involves travel across Scotland.
The postholder will help develop and run FLS's Agriculture Programme, coordinating strategic objectives, overseeing regional asset and agreement management, handling budgets, and building long-term plans for equipped farms. They'll also act as the organisation's agriculture specialist, advising internally and representing FLS with partners such as the Scottish Government and industry groups.
Candidates need substantial agricultural experience, knowledge of agricultural agreements, asset management, and Scottish land reform legislation, plus a degree (or equivalent) in agriculture or a related field.
As always, best of luck!
