Scottish Forestry are looking for Assistant Woodland Officers, with current vacancies based out of their Dingwall and Hamilton offices (with future roles possible in Perth, Dumfries, Huntly and elsewhere in Scotland). The role sits under Woodland Officers and combines office, home, and outdoor work, supporting the delivery of grants and regulatory functions. Duties include giving technical guidance to woodland managers and landowners, assessing and processing applications, carrying out site visits, and helping shape forest management and new woodland creation plans. A full driving licence is needed, and a structured training programme is provided to build up the required competencies.
As always, best of luck!
