
Woodland Heritage are looking for a Chief Executive to lead the charity, working from home with an average of one day a month at the Whitney Sawmills office and options for flexible and hybrid working.
The post covers strategy, governance, operations and income generation against the charity's mission around woodlands and wood culture. The Chief Executive reports to the Co Chairs and the Culture Action Group, and line manages the Engagement Manager, Project Manager and a seconded AOD administrator, leading a wider team of three alongside freelance fundraising, finance and operational support. The role also leads the charity's relationship with Whitney Sawmills, a business owned by Woodland Heritage, and its directors and management team.
The position is permanent at 37.5 hours per week, with occasional planned evening and weekend working.
