Tilhill Forestry are looking for a Forest Manager to join their West Scotland team, based out of the Oban office, on a full-time basis. The role covers delivering woodland management and forestry contracting services to a mix of existing and new clients, including building relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders. Duties include preparing budgets and reports, managing work programmes and grant applications, overseeing productive forestry operations, and contributing to new woodland creation projects, working alongside local forestry, business development, forest investment, and harvesting teams. Suitable candidates will be experienced forestry professionals with good knowledge of upland conifer forest management, the UK Forestry Standard and UKWAS, strong commercial and client relationship skills, and a full UK driving licence; business development experience, knowledge of Forestry Grant Schemes, and professional body membership are desirable but not essential.
