Euroforest are looking for a Forest Manager to join their Scotland-based forest management team, working out of the Stirling office. The role covers a mix of office and field work across a varied client portfolio, alongside colleagues in both harvesting and management.

Day to day, the post involves planning and supervising forest operations, keeping work compliant with environmental and regulatory requirements, and managing relationships with clients, landowners, contractors and regulators. It also takes in establishment, restocking and maintenance programmes, thinning and harvesting schedules including timber evaluation, contract compliance on timber sales, management plans and production forecasts, budgeting and reporting, and tender preparation.

Applicants will need practical forest management experience, a relevant qualification in forestry or a related land or science-based subject, and a working knowledge of forestry and environmental legislation, UKFS and UKWAS. Commercial awareness and an understanding of both upland and lowland silviculture across the full cycle are expected. Familiarity with PAWS and ASNW management, grant and regulatory systems, and membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters are all listed as desirable, with support offered towards professional membership. GIS and Office 365 skills and a full clean UK driving licence are required. Training on company systems and continued professional development are provided.
