Forestry England are recruiting for a role based in Corby, East Midlands, supporting the beat Forester across forest management activities including restocking and timber harvesting. The postholder will supervise and coordinate contractors to ensure work is completed to a high health & safety and quality standard, meeting targets within set timeframes, while assisting with work programme planning and supporting effective team working. Candidates should have relevant forestry or land management experience, contract supervision experience, and a sound understanding of health and safety in forest operations, along with a recognised forestry qualification and good knowledge of UKFS and UKWAS requirements.
