Forestry and Land Scotland is recruiting a Forestry Worksite Supervisor on a full-time basis, based at Durris in its East region. Applications close on 29 September 2026.
This is a field-based position supporting operational teams and contractors working on site. Worksite Supervisors help with contract management, mapping and updates to plans. They are responsible for making sure work meets health, safety, environmental and UKWAS requirements, contribute to the organisation's climate and biodiversity goals, and maintain good working relationships with customers and stakeholders.
The East region brings in roughly £22.5 million a year, mostly from sustainable timber harvesting and commercial leases. It also leads work on peatland restoration, renewable energy developments and woodland creation.
Applicants should have experience in forestry or other land-based operations, along with an understanding of managing health, safety and wellbeing.
As always, best of luck!
