Forestry and Land Scotland are looking for an Interim Head of Planning, based flexibly , to provide strategic leadership across planning, GIS and land management functions. This is a Civil Service-only vacancy, sitting within the new Directorate of Forestry, leading a multidisciplinary team of around 25 staff. The role covers developing deliverable plans aligned to corporate priorities, maintaining environmental and UKWAS standards, and using technology to support decision-making and organisational transformation, working alongside technical, operational and environmental colleagues.
